I get a lot of requests from guys to do a what to wear for mens fashion.

Dont worry I would not want a man to be dressed up in outfits that Scott Kourtney Kardashians boyfriend wears no pink suits, no over the top bold colors like lime greens, bright oranges, light purples or crazy neon yellows like he would be seen wearing.No offence to any guys who do enjoy dressing in matchy matchy feminine attire its just not what I want to see a man wearing.I actually really like how Olivia Palermos boyfriend dresses he always looks put together but not too crazy where you would be questioning if he is gay or not lol.He would probably be my best example of how a guy should dress its casual laid back type of clothes but it doesnt look sloppy.My biggest fashion dont’s for men would have to be where guys have pants especially jeans that are falling off their ass.I also hate it when guys wear those basketball shorts that are soooo big and baggy that with one wrong move their underwear will be exposed the shorts dont fit at all.Always get a good pair of jeans that are snug in all the right places guys.I dont like seeing men in skinny jeans or pants that are too tight thats weird I dont want to see a man in pants that are tighter than mine.If I can swap jeans with a guy because he wears pants that are my size because their so tight thats never good lol.Another fashion dont for men is wearing baseball hats all the time some guys can get away with it every once in a while but for the most part its a fashion dont.I dont want to see guys in top hats,fedoras or hats of any kind.My biggest fashion dont for guys are T shirts that have sayings on them I know american eagle does this where they have saying on t shirts with stupid shit written on them or graphic tees with pictures of girls or beer or other stupid shit dont wear those at all.No logo T shirts either .Hopefully this helped below I posted some pics of some outfits to give you some ideas for your own wardrobe.

»BLUE JEANS« A BOOK BY CENTRAAL MUSEUM UTRECHT (NL) / OUT NOW!

Yesterday the Dutch ›Centraal Museum‹ published a book called ›Blue Jeans‹. This denim publication was put into print to support the museum’s internationally admired ›Blue Jeans‹ exhibition.
Across various themes, the exhibition shows the history of 350 years jeans. It presents contemporary denim interpretations and unique historical products such as indigo kimono’s from Japan. On top of that it shows the way jeans evolved in fashion photography by artists like Richard Avedon and the exhibition is showcasing the history, craftsmanship as well as innovative technology in denim design. Amongst many other jeans artefacts the museum naturally presents a wide selection of the most extraordinary jeans around.
This ›Blue Jeans‹ publication consists of 4 essays: Design Jeans, Amekaji (Americana & Japan), Green Jeans and Dutch Jeans. Next to that the book consists of a Denim Dictionary in collaboration with Tenue de Nîmes. In ›Denim Heads‹ the museum portraits a variety of denim aficionado’s accompanied by their favourite pair of blue.
The ›Blue Jeans‹ book is designed by Joachim Baan and is available for wholesale as from today. Note: The English edition of the book is published in limited quantities. This first edition is available for a wholesale price of €15,00. The suggested retail price is €25,-

DESIGNER SCOUTS RUNWAY SHOW SPRING/SUMMER 2013

The DESIGNER SCOUTS project opened its 9th fashion event and once again presented outstanding emerging design talents on the runway during Berlin Fashion Week. After several fashion shows, presentations, exhibitions, fashion films and swap markets in the past three years the DESIGNER SCOUTS project was back this season with a program of runway shows in an exciting off-site venue at the gallery quarter at Heidestraße bringing the talent of young designers into the limelight of Berlin Fashion Week.


The evening program started with a group show of three designers: Avant-garde designer Franziska Michael presented her Spring/Summer 2013 womenswear collection with lush, purple, botanic prints contrasted by heavy knits in moss. Her highlight look was a stunning lavender lace dress. Accessory label Marc Andersen chose a very unconventional form of presentation. Their graphical scarf collection titled »Hiroshima Mon Amour« was showcased by two ballet dancers who performed during a video projection of stylized atomic mushrooms. Young designer Emilia Tikka presented her sculptural collection »External Body« in an atmospheric runway performance. Last year her outstanding work has been chosen for the Talent issue of Vogue Italy and the Vogue Talent event.


In the second part of the event the EDGED showroom curated the award-winning label Studio Laend Phuengkit who showed their Spring/Summer 2013 menswear collection »Silent city of« on the runway. Combining contemporary urban style with traditional Asian elements is the signature of the young designer behind the label.


With 4 amazing collections, a great runway space and more then 300 excited guests the DESIGNER SCOUTS event was a great success and once again a proved that Berlin is a unique place for fashion and thriving hub for talents from all over the world. Next on the agenda is the SKYY VODKA SWAP MARKET that will take place on August 24, 2012 at the HBC. For the third time in a row the DESIGNER SCOUTS will be hosting this event and will curate a line-up of designers from Germany that will donate pieces from their collections for the benefit of the HIV charity Berliner Aids-Hilfe e.V. At the market fashion enthusiasts will get the chance to swap high quality vintage clothes and designer pieces for a good cause.

Some people tell me it’s about a one night stand! Anyway sometimes there are moments where you get lucky – you meet the right boy/girl – the clothes are right and the music is high and above it all there is the disco ball rotating! For S/S13 we want to dress guys – both the cool and the cute – for that night. He is wearing red lace/latex tracksuits or metal glitzy disco sweats with floral short shorts. Another night draped lace on a sailor’s tee-shirt with army boxers with half a skirt. Some might call it feminine – I call it modern. Get lucky tonight – catch that moment.
