Britney Spears had just one thing on her mind during her upcoming guest appearance on US sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
In a preview clip, which touts the episode as the one “everybody’s buzzing about,” Britney kicks off her latest television appearance with the words, “Can we have sex and then go shopping?”.

In the episode, the troubled pop star plays a flirtatious office receptionist, opposite Josh Radnor.
Britney, who spent two days on set last week, called the spot “a blast,” and she won rave reviews from the show’s cast.
Actress Alyson Hannigan said: “[Britney] nailed her jokes, she’s really playing a character. It’s so sweet and so endearing, I love her.”.

Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Barney Stinson, added: “There was not an ounce of the dark side that we’ve all read so much about.”

Jennifer has been linked to a string of men since her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005.
In recent months, she has spent time with Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom and her Traveling in Vancouver co-star Aaron Eckhart.

Motherhood has clearly given the 26-year-old’s formerly skinny figure a boost – she looked radiant in a tight sliver dress at the launch party for DCMA Collective in Los Angeles on Friday night.

She now appears to be in her element with her curvy but petite figure.
But, like Christina Aguilera, who gave birth on the same day as Nicole, her cleavage has been given a welcome boost by motherhood.

DCMA Collective is a collaboration between Good Charlotte brothers Joel and Benji Madden, their older brothers Josh and friend Tal Cooperman.

It should come as no surprise that successful girl troupe the Pussycat Dolls have decided to capitalise on their success by launching a branded clothing line – and that they have opted for as little clothing as possible.
Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin debuted a lingerie collection as part of Los Angeles Fashion Week, with the main emphasis for her inspiration coming from ‘scantily’ and ‘clad’.
The group, who began life as a burlesque troupe performed onstage at the fashion show, during Mercedes Benz fashion week in California.

“What can be taken seriously is a real, bona fide talent.”.

No doubt Antin hopes the lingerie line will do better than her other bright idea, a range of toy Pussycat Dolls to compete with the spectacularly successful Bratz doll phenomenon.
Manufacturer Hasbro unveiled plans to launch the dolls, aimed at girls as young as 8 years old and modelled after the risqué group who famously sang “Don’t cha wish your girlfriend was a freak like me”.
But after protests by parent groups, Hasbro dropped plans for the line.

She may have taken her time before deciding to marry Rhys Ifans. But it seems Sienna Miller isn’t wasting any time when it comes to choosing where to exchange her vows.
The couple have their hearts set on hiring a private beach resort for a week on the island of Isla Mujeres, eight miles off the coast of Cancun, Mexico.
A source said: “This is the perfect location for Sienna to have her big day. This particular resort is literally in the middle of nowhere, so the only people to witness their wedding will be close friends and family.

Due to its location, much of the food for the wedding is being shipped in from Cancun’s mainland. After the ceremony, guests will then be taken back to the villa to feast on traditional Mexican dishes and knock back Mexico’s best tequilas.
The couple became fond of the Latin American city during their romantic holiday last year.
And it seems it remains their first choice as the couple were spotted frolicking on the beach only.

Rhys, who at 39, is 13-years Sienna’s senior, first asked her to marry him in August when he sent the Factory Girl star a cryptic message in Welsh, which read “Marry the Misfit”.
He proposed again in December – and although Sienna’s publicist has denied reports of an engagement – Sienna finally said yes earlier this month.
The loved-up pair are also looking for a home in Oxford as well as a cottage in Wales, in a bid to remain completely private.
Sienna and Rhys were back in LA today, where Si is filming GI Joe with costars Dennis Quaid and Channing Tatum.

“I’ve started taking boxing lessons, and I’ve also had to learn how to fire guns with live ammunition.
“I’m a baddie, running around kicking everyone while wearing tight, thigh-high boots. And I’m getting muscles everywhere.”
Meanwhile, Rhys has decided to put acting on the backburner once he completes The Boat That Rocked, to re-launch his music career. After fronting the Super Furry Animals in the 1990’s, his main focus is to launch his new band The Peth.

With notoriously erratic Britney Spears looking spotty-faced and more out of shape that ever, producers have turned to the realm of make-believe for her latest video.
The clip for her forthcoming single Break The Ice features an animated incarnation of the troubled pop star, where she appears as a slim line superhero who prowls through a futuristic world in a black catsuit.

The makers, seemingly desperate to recapture her former glory, have modelled the image on Britney’s appearance in the video for her 2003 hit Toxic.
But it barely resembles the star’s current dishevelled look, more portly stature and blotchy skin.
Sources insist Britney was “otherwise occupied,” forcing producers decided this “creative” way to approach her next release.
But it seems the 26-year-old could not be more eager to get back to work.

She added: “I’m comfortable with my weight between 8st 8lb and 8st 1lb – it’s important to have that extra half-stone leeway, so you don’t panic if you put on a few pounds.”.

Kate’s photo is expected to fetch $30-40,000 (£15-£20,000) at auction, as is Brazilian Gisele’s.
The photographs are taken from collector Gert Elfering extensive collection which will be auctioned off at Christie’s next month.
It’s expected to fetch in excess of £2-3million.

Among the images on offer are portraits of 60s icon Brigitte Bardot and a reclining nude of American actress Lauren Hutton and a set of four psychedelic Beatles portraits all by celebrated fashion photographer Richard Avedon.
Elfering, 49, one of the world’s foremost collectors of 20th-century photography, owns iconic prints by such greats as Helmut Newton, Avedon, Man Ray, Robert Mapplethorpe, Guy Bourdin, Cindy Sherman, Diane Arbus and legendary photographer Horst P. Horst.
He first encountered the work of Horst in the early Eighties when the then 25-year-old German walked into Hamilton’s Gallery while vacationing in London.

Elfering recalled he was instantly taken with the dramatic portraits but was unable to afford even a single print.
Instead, he left with a book and a poster. In 1998 he acquired the complete Horst archive.

“I started with a book and a poster, then moved on to smaller prints, then more expensive ones, and finally the estate,” says Elfering.
And now he’s letting most of it go – 135 lots – in a sale in New York on April 10, 2008.
But not before giving the public a chance to see them one more time.

The model took part in a training session completely nude, save for body-painted event running numbers, painted shorts and pink commemorative back signs to help launch a major fundraising event for cancer research.

The 34-year-old TV presenter took part in a training session in Regent’s Park, London, along with women from around the UK to highlight Cancer Research UK Race for Life 2008, the largest women-only fundraising event in Britain.
She has been a long-time support of the charity, and within that time, her father Ted, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and takes part in the Race for Life in celebration of him.
Women are invited to walk, jog, or run five kilometres (3.1 miles) at more than 260 events across the UK. The charity is hoping that 750,000 women will participate and help raise more than £50 million for research into all forms of cancer.
Now in its 15th year, the Race for Life Series runs from the beginning of May until the end of July.
