Lindsay Lohan has paid homage to Marilyn Monroe by recreating the late star’s final nude photoshoot.
The actress and pop star stripped off for New York magazine, wearing a blonde wig and covered only by a sheer pink sheet.

The shoot was done by famed photographer Bert Stern, who also photographed Monroe’s The Last Sitting in 1962 – she was found dead from an apparent drugs overdose just six weeks later.
And 46 years on, Stern and Lohan have recreated the now iconic pictures.
Lohan said she was “comfortable” with the nude shoot, but admitted she had done 250 sit-ups the night before to prepare.
The Mean Girls star tells the magazine that she is a huge Monroe fan, and has even bought an apartment where she once lived.
She said: “If you saw my house, I have a lot of Marilyn stuff.”
“It’s eerie because it’s this picture of her, and it’s kind of cartoony, and there’s a big bottle of pills next to her, and they’ve fallen over.
“Here is a woman who is giving herself to the public. She’s saying, ‘Look, you’ve taken a lot from me, so why don’t I give it to you myself.’ She’s taking control back.”
Lohan also told the magazine that Heath Ledger’s recent fatal drug overdose was “tragic” adding: “They (Ledger and Monroe) are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone.”
She is no stranger to battling personal demons – last year, the hard-partying star spent time in rehab after being charged with drinking while under the influence, and later served an 84-minute stint in jail as well as community service.

Kerry told Richard and Judy on their C4 show: “It took me a year to grieve over Brian and to actually cry. Cocaine gave me the confidence and helped me lose weight.”
She denied that finding fame with girl band Atomic Kitten at the age of 16 had anything to do with her addiction.
“It was the people I was brought up with. I was one of those girls from a council estate, in care, eight different schools, pushed around from here to there.
“My mum was a manic depressive, alcoholic cocaine user. The fame helped me get away from it if I’m honest.
“While I was in Atomic Kitten on tour, I was getting phone calls from mum saying she was being beaten up by her boyfriend but none of that’s come out in the papers.”
Kerry also denied rumours that she is on the brink of bankruptcy and says she has signed another contract as the face of Iceland supermarket.
“I’ve been in the best place since I’ve been with Mark. I’m not going bankrupt,” she said.
The mum-of-three claims she will give birth to her fourth child while the cameras are still rolling for her show, which began shooting in December.

Hilton was carrying a fake driver’s licence and was also arrested for investigation of carrying a falsified state document.
Barron faces a possible jail sentence and a minimum licence suspension of one year if convicted of the charges.
Paris, who turns 27 on Friday, infamously served 22 days in jail last year after being convicted of driving on a suspended licence.
It followed a conviction for drink-driving in September 2006.
Father Rick Hilton said in a statement: “I haven’t been contacted yet by either my son or the police. If what I have heard is true, it is very disturbing and I will have a lot to say — but it will be to my son not the media.”
