Michael Jackson finally shows off his children to the world

It would be pointless trying to judge a family resemblance, given that the man they’re supposed to take after doesn’t even look like himself any more.
But celebrity watchers still believe that these children are the offspring of Michael Jackson.
The blue-eyed blonde sauntering along on the left of the main picture, clad in white jacket and jeans, is apparently his daughter Paris Katherine, nine.

The handsome fellow following her in a Mickey Mouse cap is ten-year-old Prince Michael.
And the little imp grinning out from beneath a hoodie on the far left, despite the best efforts of his nanny to keep him hidden, is thought to be their five-yearold brother Prince Michael II – known as Blanket.
Few outside the family and their staff have seen the faces of the children. The star has gone to great lengths to conceal their appearance in public, with scarves and shawls.
Had it not been for 49-year-old Jackson attempting another “incognito” outfit as the family stepped out in Las Vegas, they might have gone unnoticed.

He appeared in a scruffy green anorak with the hood pulled down low, large dark glasses and a scarf across the lower half of his face.
The outfit was relatively subdued, compared to some of the bizarre clothes he has worn in recent years.
He was seen covering his face with sticking plasters in Las Vegas last Christmas, an abaya – a concealing Arab woman’s garment – in Bahrain and a large floppy hat, blouse and high heels in St Tropez.
The group had been attending ventriloquist Ronn Lucas’s show at the Luxor Hotel in the gambling mecca.
The family have become nomads since the singer’s trial over allegations of child abuse in May 2005.

Although he was cleared, he was humiliated by revelations about his private life and became more reclusive than ever, leaving his Californian home to drift from one country to the next with his children in tow.
He is also said to be £170million in debt.
Friends insist he is a good father, despite dangling Blanket over the balcony of his Berlin hotel five years ago to gasps from the crowd below.
One friend said: “He spends all his time making sure the children are happy. Michael is a big kid himself and plays silly games with them. He does not let them out of his sight.”.

The two elder children do bear some resemblance to their mother Debbie Rowe, who Jackson married in 1996.
Rowe, his second wife after Lisa Marie Presley, was a dermatologist’s nurse.
When they divorced three years later she apparently gave the singer custody as “a gift”.
Blanket was born to an unnamed surrogate mother. The paternity of all three children has been questioned in the past.

Javier Bardem going out with Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz is dating Javier Bardem, according to the actor’s loose-tongued friend and co-star Woody Harrelson.
The Sydney Morning Herald claims Harrelson let the secret slip at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Tuesday.
He was there to present his No Country for Old Men co-star with the Montecito Award for his contribution to film when he confirmed the two Spanish actors were an item.

He said: “I can’t believe the luck Javier has. If you look at his biography – one page is just describing his journey and then the second page is all of the awards he’s won.
“And not to mention, I found this out last night too – he’s going out with Penelope Cruz!”
At the mention of Cruz, the crowd cheered while an embarrassed Javier, 38, put his head in his hands.

Although neither have ever confirmed they are in a relationship, the pair were spotted canoodling in the Maldives last autumn and on several dates.
The actor, who is nominated for an Oscar, met Penelope, 33, in 1992 when they both starred in Spanish film Jamon Jamon.
They were then reunited on the set of Woody Allen’s new film last year, which is currently untitled and also stars Scarlett Johansson.

In the soap Echo Beach, Martine plays housewife Susan Penwarden and the actress revealed she can’t wait to go back to film more.
“We just all want to film together again because we absolutely genuinely got on like a house on fire in Cornwall,” she said.
“I don’t think it’s ever been the same since we left.”
She added that whilst she doesn’t read the press, she thinks positive criticism is important.
“There’s always something that you can enhance on,” she said.
“There’s always something that you can do to make a show better and I’m sure the producers and ITV will take on board any relevant comments and make it work.”

Actress Eva Mendes has shocked fans by checking into rehab to treat a drug addiction problem.
Her management have confirmed the glamorous star, who has been applauded for her clean-living and healthy body attitude, has been at Cirque Lodge Rehab for several weeks.
Her representative released a statement saying: “Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to pro-actively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support.
“Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details.”
The 33-year-old star of We Own the Night has just been named the new face of Calvin Klein and a stint in the favoured rehab centre of Lindsay Lohan is not likely do her career any favours.
Eva, who has also starred in films such as Hitch with Will Smith and Training Day with Denzel Washington, is a former face of cosmetics giant Revlon.
Her management have not revealed how long she will be receiving treatment for in Utah.

Onlookers say the pair were “all over each other and making out” during a wild night at New York’s Tenjune club on Tuesday, according US reports.
“It’s Paris,” the observer told American magazine Us Weekly. “She loves putting on a show.”

Lynne Spears, who had not spoken to her daughter for several months, is reportedly staging an intervention to save the troubled star.
Her rescue mission came after a hysterical Britney was pictured sitting barefoot outside her LA home as she sobbed on the pavement.

Those close to Britney are hoping her mother’s re-emergence in her life will be the much needed catalyst for the fallen pop star to finally seek professional help.
The pair fell out last summer after Spears blamed her parents for forcing her into rehab.
In June, Britney wrote and hand delivered a restraining order to Lynne, instructing her to stay away from her children.

But Britney’s mother has decided to forgive her wayward daughter as she makes another effort to get her life back on track.
Last night’s drama started after Britney and Lutfi reportedly fell out over her relationship with boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, prompting the singer to call Ghalib for help.
As she sat on the edge of a garden bed, dressed in denim hot pants, checked fedora hat and an overized jacket, photographers asked her if she was OK.
Britney responded: “I’m fine. I’m sitting for once and having a nice time with my dog.”
Birmingham-raised Ghalib was denied entry to the premises as Lutfi warned security not to let him in, turning Britney’s mobile phones off to ensure he could not reach her.

Britney, 26, later left with another paparazzo before meeting up with Ghalib on the street as her father, Jamie Spears, and police arrived on the scene.
Lutfi reportedly started the argument over Ghalib, warning Britney that he was a bad influence on the star.
The feud between Ghalib and Lutfi has been raging for weeks, sources told Mail Online.

The singer’s meltdown comes as her closest confidant Sam Lutfi claimed she is suffering from ‘mental problems’.

Many media observers believe that the pair’s differences centre on which paparazzi photo agency Britney chooses to align herself with.

For months, the star has been tipping off photographers on her whereabouts – in part for her own amusement but also, it’s suspected, to make money.
“Sam has always given tips to X-17 while Adnan obviously wants everything going through Finalpixx,” explains an insider. “These two guys are making money off Britney but she’s too blind to see it. It’s tragic that her life has come down to this.”
The star’s latest crisis comes as Lutfi admitted Britney was suffering from “mental issues”.
Veteran journalist and programme regular Barbara Walters has revealed Lutfi had contacted the The View show to update them on Britney’s situation.
She said: “He said Britney is suffering from what he described as ‘mental issues which are treatable’. He said she has been to a psychiatrist and that she – I assume this – has started some kind of treatment.
“She has been having mood swings. She has been having trouble sleeping. Also she is in touch with her mother.
“Her mother has been very supportive of what Britney is going to do.”.

Hours after the incident, Lynne Spears was seen visiting her daughter’s home, having flown in from her native Louisiana.
In an effort to show a united front, Britney emerged to pose for photographers, arm-in-arm with Lutfi and her mother.
But her body language was tense, proving reports that she takes a dim view of her daughter’s alliance with Lutfi.
Lutfi is said to have a history of tempestuous relationships as he reportedly has had three restraining orders taken out against him in California prior to forming a friendship with the pop star.
According to Blender magazine, Danny Haines, one of the people who obtained a court order, says Lufti was “more jealous than a lover”.
In one bright spot for Britney, she is now allowed telephone contact with her two sons, Sean Preston, two and one-year-old Jayden James.
She is still not allowed to see the children but an LA court has ruled she may speak to them on the telephone.

The heiress showed her endurance last night, party-hopping her way across town visiting no less than four LA hotspots – including lesbian bar Falcon on Sunset Boulevard.

It’s the second time she’s been spotted at Falcon this month – she hit the venue three weeks ago for the Hollywood premiere of the fifth season of lesbian series The L Word.
