Victoria braved the cold to enjoy a Christmas shopping trip

It might be less than 10 degrees outside – but Victoria Beckham clearly thinks she’s still in sunny LA, judging from her barely there outfit.
Despite the plunging temperatures in the capital, dressed in a satin minidress and tiny black cardigan, Victoria braved the cold to enjoy a Christmas shopping trip in Bond Street’s exclusive boutiques yesterday.
Her one concession to the cold winter weather, was to don a pair of Michael Jackson style black leather gloves.

But as is expected of someone of her celebrity status, in between nipping in shops, Victoria had a warm chauffeur driven car at her disposal in which to shelter from the falling temperature, and revive her very exposed, coltish legs.
Judging from her constant carousel of designer outfits, clearly Posh is in no need of new clothes.
However, the rejuvenated Spice Girl still stopped off at Yves Saint Laurent in Berkeley Square, but left empty-handed before moving on to lunch at Nobu.
Maybe she was looking for something for husband David – but as he’s now modelling for Armani – perhaps she should be looking there.

Apart from shopping for Christmas gifts, Posh reportedly received a surprise gift of her own when she opened her post this week.
Celebrity skin doctor Dr Neetu Nirdosh has sent the Spice Girl some of her famous anti-ageing skincare sets, regularly used by the hard partying Primrose Hill set – stuffed inside a turkey.
Nirdosh said: “Victoria’s not in her twenties any more, and so she needs to prepare her skin for the gruelling toll of a world tour.” Quite.

Although she has been reunited with her four best friends in a money-spinning reunion tour, none of the other Spice Girls were with Posh as she enjoyed a break in their hectic tour schedule, which includes 17 nights in London.
Two nights ago the girls turned their performance at London’s O2 into a family affair after bringing their children on stage during their hit song Mama, fulfilling Posh’s dream of her children seeing her perform.
The group are set to return to the stage tonight in the German city of Cologne, and will play Madrid on December 23.

David Beckham in the full-frontal ads

Victoria’s Secret… well not anymore. Thanks to Emporio Armani, fans of David Beckham will be able to see the football ace in his briefs – a sight normally reserved for Posh Spice’s eyes only.
The LA Galaxy player has become Armani’s secret weapon in their attempt to beat Calvin Klein in the U.S. underwear wars.
And who better to gain publicity for Armani than Los Angeles’ newest resident David, who shows off his Goldenballs in the tight-fitting pants.
On closer inspection, die-hard fans are wondering whether David’s lunchbox has been digitally-enhanced for the saucy ads.

The 32-year-old signed a reported £20million deal to star in the three-year campaign last month and shot the first ads with acclaimed photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who are well-known in the industry for their glossy, air-brushed images.
Beckham’s friendship with Giorgio Armani goes back years – in 2002 the Italian designer designed the suits for the England football team for the World Cup in 2002.
Beckham said: “I’ve been a big fan of his style for a long time and, through the years, my wife and I have become friends with him, so I’m happy to be working with him now.”
Armani enthused: “He represents a notion of modern masculinity: as a sports hero, husband and father.”.

Unlike Europe, Armani has a relatively low-key presence in the U.S. – until now.
Emporio Armani’s new underwear range is set for launch in America in the New Year and they are hoping to trounce, if not match, the sales of Calvin Klein.
Beckham’s ads will go up against Calvin Klein’s newest underwear model, Blood Diamond actor Djimon Hounsou, who replaced Sweden and West Ham football player Freddie Ljungberg earlier this year.
The new range will go on sale in department stores across America from February 2008
