Motherhood looks to be agreeing with Emma Bunton.
After only giving birth five months ago to her first child Beau, the ex-Spice Girl is already looking as trim as she did before her pregnancy.
Her trademark golden locks seem to have regained their shine and her skin is glowing.

To say the least, she seems revived.
But things have also been hectic for the new mother.
Her reunion tour with the Spice Girls came only two and a half months after she gave birth, making her fitness regime intense and difficult.

‘At the time, I thought going on tour so soon after Beau would be a great idea,’ Emma told Red magazine.
‘I should have thought about it more! I had the best time, but it was hard.
‘You have to get back in shape and your fitness has to be up to a two-hour stage show every night.
‘I don’t know if I’ll put myself through that again.
‘It’s tough for any woman returning to work straight after having a baby.
‘I didn’t want to be in the gym 24 hours a day, instead of being with Beau.
‘And I wanted to breastfeed for the first couple of months.

‘I did lots of walking, but I couldn’t do sit-ups because I’d had a Caesarean, as I was overdue.
‘So, for the first four weeks after having Beau, I did nothing, absolutely nothing.
‘I had to relax and take time out.’
As with any pregnancy, insecurities may arise and Emma admitted to feeling self-conscious when she was on stage.
‘The first fortnight of the tour I did feel self-conscious but, one night, I was up on stage and it just hit me: hold on, Emma, everyone knows you’ve just had a baby, enjoy it,’ she said.

‘After that it was wonderful and I had a great time.
‘And I like being curvy. I don’t think I’d look good thin.
‘I’m careful. I don’t have carbs for dinner, but I love crisps and Coke and great wine and Chinese food.
‘I could never be one of those people who thinks about their figure 24/7’
Despite rumours that some of The Spice Girls had been engaged in all-out warfare during the tour, Emma remains adamant that they actually had a great time – and were very supportive.

‘The other girls were brilliant,’ she said.
”They kept asking me how I was doing and if I needed a break.
‘I think you forget the pain, the tiredness, and they probably just thought I’d be fine.
‘But they were really supportive and they all loved Beau.
‘It was so nice, we’d be rehearsing and the kids would all by running around.’
Emma was also keen to stress how close she was to Victoria Beckham.
‘To me, she’s just Victoria, my friend,’ she said.
‘She’s an amazing mother and she’s very funny.
‘She was texting me this morning and I was in hysterics – that’s the part I see.’

Spice spat as Geri claims Headlines for herself

When Geri Halliwell fell out with her fellow Spice Girls it resulted in the group disbanding. Now, with just months to go until their reunion tour, there has been the first difference of opinion.
After a meeting at Geri’s North London home, I hear Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown are put out that Geri has been claiming the group’s new single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) was largely down to her.
‘Geri is making it clear to all who listen that she wrote it with Emma Bunton and the others added their lyrics much later,’ says a source.

Bluebell’s big day gets a sprinkle of Spice

The Spice Girls have reunited for a one-off event – the christening of Geri Halliwell’s daughter Bluebell.
Four of the band’s former line-up made it including the former Posh Spice Victoria Beckham who is thought to have been made a godmother for helping Miss Halliwell, 34, through her pregnancy.

Together again: Four-out-of-five of the Spice Girls (Emma, Mel C, Geri and Victoria) attended Bluebell Madonna’s Christening. The only member not there was Mel B.

Baby Spice Emma Bunton, who is expecting her first child, and Melanie Chisholm – the former Sporty Spice – were also among the 100 guests.
The group’s fifth member, Scary Spice Melanie Brown, who lives with her family in the U.S., was the sole absentee.

Miss Halliwell – Ginger Spice – showed off Bluebell to wellwishers, posing with the flowers her 11-monthold daughter is named after.
Black limousines ferried VIP guests from St Michael’s church in Highgate, North London, to an after-service party at Miss Halliwell’s nearby home.

Lady Isabella Hervey, who attended the ceremony along with Little Britain star David Walliams, said: “It was a lovely service. Geri looked stunning. It was good to see so many of the Spice Girls back together and getting on so well.”
There was no sign of Bluebell’s father, Sacha Gervasi. Miss Halliwell became pregnant after a brief relationship with the 40-year-old scriptwriter in Los Angeles and relations between the two are said to be fraught.
