Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Nereida Gallardo added extra heat to the already soaring temperatures in Sardinia yesterday with a romantic beach front display.
The couple put on many a public display of affection on their romantic getaway, showering each other with kisses as they relaxed on a sun lounger.
They seemed unconcerned by the presence of fellow beach goers, no doubt surprising onlookers with their affectionate behaviour.

The pair have reportedly been sailing around the Mediterranean after Ronaldo hired out a £10million luxury yacht.
Ronaldo chose to holiday with his girlfriend rather than clear up the confusion over whether he will honour the four remaining years of his Manchester United contract or succumb to a bid by Real Madrid which could reportedly earn him £180,000 a week.
Some newspapers have estimated Ronaldo could receive a £80million transfer fee.

Another day, another bikini for newlywed Coleen McLoughlin, who was yet again spotted lounging by the pool of a Las Vegas resort yesterday with Wayne Rooney.
The tanned 22-year-old slipped on a strapless pink bikini for the afternoon and this time showed off her blinding diamond wedding ring – estimated to be worth £250,000 – after safely stashing it away a day earlier.

A source said: ‘They couldn’t keep their hands off each other. To most people, they were just a normal young couple in love, but a few Brits spotted him and began chanting, “Rooney, Rooney”.

Sources have revealed the pair didn’t did not invest in a pre-nuptial agreement, deciding against the legal arrangement because they didn’t want to be ‘unromantic.

The childhood sweethearts, both 22, who have been dating since they were at school, dismissed the idea out of hand, according to family friends.
‘We asked Wayne if he was going to arrange to have something in place to protect his fortune but he said it was not something he and Coleen had talked about,’ says a friend.
‘Coleen was also against the idea and said she thought it was terribly unromantic and neither of them wanted their day to be overshadowed by a legal document that would determine what would happen if they split up.’
Coleen earns millions of pounds in her own right but considerably less than Manchester United star Wayne, who can expect about £100million in income over his playing career.
Now she would potentially be entitled to half of his vast salary and a share of his earnings should the marriage break down.
The source added: ‘It never occurred to him that he should think about protecting his assets.
‘He’s quite old-fashioned about things and thinks what’s his is now hers.’
